Briefly describe Simple Squamous Epithelium.
Answer.

It is formed by a single layer of flat cells. They have length and breadth, but hardly any thickness.

  • Cells are flat and arranged in single layer.
  • On the surface view, the cells look polygonal and are arranged in a mosaic-like pattern.
