PNS Waters View Procedure

Enumerate the various extraoral radiographic techniques. Write in detail about Water’s view radiograph.
Answer. The following are the extraoral radiographic techniques:

  • Radiography of Paranasal Sinuses
    • Posteroanterior projection or occipitofrontal projection of the  nasal sinuses
    • There are 2 methods for obtaining this projection.
      • Posterior-anterior or Granger projection
      • Modified method, inclined posterior, anterior, or cald well projection
