  • Barbituarate: Phenobarbitone
  • Deoxybarbiturate: Primidone
  • Hydantoin: Phenytoin, fosphenytoin
  • Iminostilbene: Carbemazepine, oxcarbazepine
  • Succinimide: Ethosuximide
  • Aliphatic Carboxylic Acid: Valproic acid, Divalproex
  • Benzodiazepines: clonazepam, diazepam, lorazepam, clobazam
  • Phenyltriazine: Lamotrigine
  • Cyclic GABA Analogue: Gabapentin
  • Newer Drugs: Vigabatrin, topiramate, tiagabine, zonisamide, levetiracetam.
