Lingual Nerve Origin:
- It is one of the terminal branch of the posterior division of trigeminal nerve
Lingual Nerve Course:
- It begins one cm below the skull
- About 2 cm below skull, it is joined to the Chorda tympani nerve at an acute angle
- Then lies in contact with mandible
- Medial to 3rd molar tooth
